Will Harrell return in NBL26?

The Adelaide 36ers are prioritising securing the signatures of local talent before making a decision on whether to pursue star import Montrezl Harrell for a second season with the club. 

GM of Basketball Operations responded to a report from ESPN that Harrell wouldn't be returning for NBL26.

"(We) still haven’t made decisions around imports ... focus is purely on local talent," Weston said on Tuesday.

ESPN's Olgun Uluc said: "The 36ers will not be bringing back Montrezl Harrell, sources said; the team is eyeing a more mobile, athletic, rangy four-man to complement what they hope is a team that can play with pace."

But it seems the 36ers haven't completely ruled out an offer for the former NBA Sixth Man of the Year.

Last week, Uluc reported Kendric Davis rejected a "substantial offer" from the 36ers.
