REPORT: Phoenix set to sign new coach

The South East Melbourne Phoenix have secured their new coach, according to ESPN's Olgun Uluc.

Uluc reported the Phoenix had signed Josh King, most recently head coach of Darüşşafaka in the Turkish Basketball Super League.

King previously coached MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg in the Basketball Bundesliga, after an established career in the college coaching ranks. 

South East Melbourne parted ways with previous coach Mike Kelly last week, with Sam Mackinnon taking the role in an interim capacity.

Uluc reported King was set to sign a multi-year deal.
