Opals at the Olympics: How to watch & live scores

Wednesday, August 7, 2024
All the information you need to know ahead of the Paris Olympics, including full schedule, TV details & more.
The Australian Opals will be looking to bounce back from a disappointing Olympic campaign in Tokyo and launch themselves into the medals again as one of the world's best teams.
It's been 12 years since the Opals last won a medal, a bronze in London, so Paris looms as a chance for redemption for Sandy Brondello and her team.
It's a history-making fifth Games for one of the all-time greats, 43-year-old Lauren Jackson, who first represented her country at the Olympics way back in 2000, in Sydney.
For the Opals to go through to the next round, they'll need to finish in the top two in their group, or ranked as one of the two highest third-placed teams across the three groups. In all, eight teams will advance from the first round.
The Opals' Olympic matches will be available via the Nine Network, with highlights on-demand via 9Now.
Stan Sport will broadcast all events live from across the 19 days in Paris.
NBL Media will be providing updates and stats via its social media channels on X, Facebook and Instagram.
