Vasiljevic returns v Wildcats

Adelaide 36ers star Dejan Vasiljevic will return from injury in Saturday night’s clash with the Perth Wildcats. 

Vasiljevic hasn’t played since November 30 and returns at a perfect time for an Adelaide side that is desperate for wins to stay in the Finals hunt. 

“With DJ’s rehabilitation we needed to take a conservative approach due to the nature of the injury,” 36ers Head of Medical Tristan Chai said.

“He has completed all rehabilitation criteria and has trained fully with the team for the past week and is ready to play, he was very close to playing on Christmas Eve.”

Vasiljevic is averaging 18.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game this season. 

Sunday Dech remains out with a hamstring injury of his own.
