Brisbane Bullets' Sam McDaniel has re-signed with the club on a two-year deal.
Sam McDaniel will remain a Brisbane Bullet for two more years, after he re-signed with the club on a two-year deal.
McDaniel missed the entire NBL25 season due to a shoulder injury he suffered in September, but will continue his recovery to build on a strong 2023-24.
The 29-year-old spent a season with the Brisbane Capitals in the NBL1 North before the NBL25 season. where he was named MVP and Defensive Player of the Year.
“Sam is an integral part of what we’re building here in Brisbane,” Bullets' Senior Basketball Advisor, Stu Lash said.
“His defensive presence, leadership, and work ethic make him a key contributor to our success.
“Even through his injury, his professionalism and dedication to the club have been outstanding.
“We’re excited to have him back on board and look forward to seeing him back on the court next season."
McDaniel said the re-signing was "an easy decision", as he continues his rehabilitation.
“Re-signing with the Bullets was an easy decision,” McDaniel said.
“The club, my teammates, and the fans have been incredibly supportive, and I can’t wait to get back out there and contribute to what we’re building.”
