REPORT: Hawks make call on import duo

The Illawarra Hawks have reportedly landed two huge pieces in their drive to improve on their NBL24 success, with Code Sports reporting the Wollongong side have secured the re-signing of key import pair Gary Clark and Tyler Harvey.

Harvey has previously been reported as garnering interest from the Brisbane Bullets, while Clark’s immediate NBL future remained murky following a debut campaign in which he was named to the All-NBL First Team.

Harvey was named to the All-NBL First Team and was runner-up in the competition's MVP voting in 2021.

Head coach Justin Tatum expressed his desire to bring back the bulk of the Hawks side that made an unlikely run all the way to the NBL playoffs, however the club has, at the time of writing, only confirmed the accepting of the team club option it held on William Hickey’s contract.
