NBLxNBL1 Player Watch

Many NBL players have turned their attention to the off-season with just the Sydney Kings and Tasmania JackJumpers battling it out in the Grand Final Series.

With NBL1 conferences across the country, NBL players will be front and centre suiting up for various teams with all the action live and free to watch on the NBL1 App and NBL1.com.au

While some conferences are up to seven rounds in, this piece will highlight NBL22 players and their respective performances week to week.

Starting in NBL1 North, Anthony Drmic played his first game for the Northside Wizards with 33 points, 7 rebounds, 9 assists and 5 steals alongside Adelaide captain Mitch McCarron who had 13 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists of his own.

Brisbane Bullets/Gold Coast Rollers duo Jason Cadee (26 points, 9 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 steals) and Lamar Patterson (26 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists) ensured former NBL player and head coach Anthony Petrie's side got off to a winning start in their first game of the season.

Ben Ayre continues his crazy run to NBL22 in NBL1 North with the Cairns Marlins with 34 points, 8 rebounds vs Rockhampton and 31 points, 5 rebounds, 2 assists vs Mackay

It wasn't enough against Rockhampton who got the win thanks to 30 points and 11 rebounds from Todd Blanchfield who is suiting up alongside Isaiah Moss and former South East Melbourne sharpshooter Kendall Stephens.

In NBL1 South the standout was Adelaide 36ers DP Nick Marshall who went off across the weekend for Mt Gambier with 24 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists vs Casey and 35 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists vs Dandenong

Illawarr Hawks big man Akoldah Gak played his first game in NBL1 East, putting up 27 points in a team that includes former NBL players Oscar Forman and Lucas Walker.

Daniel Johnson followed up a scoreless first game for Forestville in NBL1 Central with a mammoth weekend that included 21 points, 20 rebounds, 7 assists vs Eastern Mavs and 19 points, 6 rebounds, 8 assists vs Sturt

Out west it was a former NBL player who turned heads with former Perth Wildcats and South East Melbourne Phoenix guard Devondrick Walker putting up 32 points and 13 rebounds followed by 33 points in two wins prompting teammate Greg Hire to suggest he is worthy of a call up in NBL23.
