Teammate Lat Mayen showed signs of what he is bringing to the Snakes in NBL23 with 21 points, 7 rebounds vs Brisbane followed by 21 points, 14 rebounds vs Northside and 13 points, 8 rebounds vs Southern Districts.

Sydney Kings star Dejan Vasiljevic announced his return from NBA Summer League to NBL1 South knocking down a game winner on the buzzer to beat Keilor as he finished with 37 points and 14 rebounds following that performance up with 36 points, and 9 rebounds against Dandenong.

Fellow Kings Jordan Hunter and Kouat Noi flashed what Sydney can expect from them in the season to come up North. Hunter had 29 points and 14 rebounds while Noi put up 36 points and 13 rebounds against SW Metro followed by 24 points and 10 rebounds vs Darwin.

Tasmania JackJumpers big man Fabijan Krslovic nearly hit the infamous 5x5 stat line against Ballarat with 25 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 4 steals and 6 blocks. Earlier in the round he also had 15 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists against Mt Gambier.

Shea Ili continued to show he is ready to take his game to another level for Melbourne United this season, putting up 33 points, 8 rebounds and 4 steals vs Casey followed by a near triple-double against Ringwood with 20 points, 10 rebounds, 9 assists and 6 steals.

The play of the Brisbane Bullets in NBL1 North should have their fans smiling - with Jason Cadee (28 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists), Tanner Krebs (24 points, 5 rebounds), DJ Mitchell (19 points, 5 rebounds) and new DP Lual Diing (27 points, 14 rebounds) all having big games.
