Cairns Taipans superstar Keanu Pinder will miss his fourth game in a row after being ruled out of tomorrow’s clash against the South East Melbourne Phoenix.

Pinder suffered a lateral ligament strain on his left ankle in Cairns’ December 23 game against Melbourne United, which led to Taipans coach Adam Forde questioning the treatment of Pinder from opponents.

Cairns has won all three games played without Pinder and will look to continue the hot streak against the Phoenix on Sunday afternoon.

Pinder is one of the favourites for this season’s MVP, averaging 17.8 points and 9.9 rebounds per game.
