How 4th Spot Will Be Decided

It could go all the way down to the final game of the season in order to decide who will take fourth spot on the ladder and book a place in the Hungry Jack's NBL Finals.

Illawarra's win over the Perth Wildcats on Friday night means that they not only locked in a Finals spot, but can finish no lower than third with their game against Sydney deciding which of the NSW teams has home court advantage in their first round Semi-Final series.

It means that fourth spot will come down to the Perth Wildcats and Tasmania JackJumpers, and their results in Round 21.

The JackJumpers must beat Melbourne United on Saturday to force a must-win game for Perth on Sunday against South East Melbourne.

If Tasmania win, and Perth win, it is the Wildcats who will advance to the Finals.

If Tasmania lose to Melbourne on Saturday, Perth will make the Finals regardless of their Sunday game.
