The Cairns Taipans' roster for next season continues to grow.

The Cairns Taipans and Kyrin Galloway have agreed to their mutual option, which will see the 204cm forward remain in Far North Queensland for the 2025-26 season.

Entering his sixth season, the 25-year-old is coming off a career-best campaign, which included five starts.

Completing the first half of the season as one of the most efficient shooters from outside the arc, Galloway reached double-digit scoring nine times and had a four-block performance in Round 17, with only five other players in the league blocking more shots in a single game.

This off-season, Galloway signed his first international contract outside of Oceania, joining the Iwate Big Bulls in Japan’s B3 League.

Galloway joins Alex Higgins-Titsha and Kody Stattmann on the Taipans roster, as the club continues their search for a new head coach.
