Doyle would “love” to represent Australia

Tasmania JackJumpers star Milton Doyle has revealed he would “love” to play for the Boomers and become an Australian citizen. 

Speaking on SEN, the 30-year-old Chicago native explained how he has fallen in love with Australia and would welcome the chance to pull on the green and gold.   

“My family loves it here, so if there’s a possibility for me to stay here and become a citizen, and possibly a Boomer one of these days, I’d love to do that,” Doyle said. 

Doyle added he is currently figuring out the process and what he needs to do to apply for citizenship. 

The smooth-shooting Doyle has become a fan favourite in Tasmania, now in his third season with the club.
