Clark Comments on NBL Future

Adelaide star import Ian Clark says he hasn’t thought about his NBL future, declaring his focus is fully set on helping the 36ers qualify for the postseason.

Clark played a key role for the Sydney Kings in last year’s title win and has been a strong contributor in Adelaide, but he has yet to play in a full NBL campaign.

Having been a midseason acquisition for both the Kings and 36ers, Clark isn’t turning his attention to securing a full-time contract next season, instead locking in on Adelaide’s postseason run.

“I don’t think too far ahead. I got the same questions last season and for me it is about one day at a time, and I don’t think it’s fair to the guys in the lockeroom who are all-in right now. I’ll worry about next season when this season is over,” Clark said via Newscorp.

Clark is averaging 14 points for the Sixers who sit in fifth position with seven games remaining.
