The Brisbane Bullets have announced the signing of DJ Mitchell on a one-year deal with a Club option for a second season.

The Brisbane Bullets have announced the signing of DJ Mitchell on a one-year deal with a Club option for a second season.
 
The 6’8, forward was born in Melbourne, to former Gold Coast, North Melbourne and Brisbane Bullets import, Mike Mitchell. DJ attended Wake Forest University and Santa Clara University before a successful first year of professional basketball in the Netherlands in 2021/22. In the BNXT League, Mitchell averaged 16ppg and 8.2rpg, shooting 42.5% from the field.
 
General Manager of Basketball, Sam Mackinnon said, “It’s exciting to have someone of DJ’s pedigree join the Bullets. He is a talented athlete with a great ability to score.”
