Breakers sign injury cover

Tai Wynyard will join the Breakers' squad for Saturday night's clash against the Sydney Kings.
The New Zealand Breakers have signed Tai Wynyard as an injury replacement player, providing vital cover in the absence of Dane Pineau and Jonah Bolden.
Wynyard, a 26-year-old center, who previously had stints with the Cairns Taipans (2019-2020) and the Breakers (2014-2016), most recently played with the Shanghai Sharks.
He had a strong season with the Canterbury Rams in the 2022/2023 NZNBL season, averaging 19.1 points and 10.5 rebounds and was part of the New Zealand Tall Blacks' World Cup Qualifying campaign.
