Besson Impresses in Combine Scrimmage

Hugo Besson has continued his strong NBA Draft Combine with an impressive performance in a day two scrimmage.

The New Zealand Breakers standout recorded eight points, two boards, and a couple of flashy passes in front of a sea of NBA scouts in Chicago.

It comes just a day after Besson shot the lights out in shooting drills on the opening day of the Combine.

Speaking after the scrimmage, which Besson called his favourite part of the Combine, the Frenchman said he relished the chance to learn how to play under NBA pressure.

“I learnt a lot to manage the pressure, to be under control, and to just play your game, play your way. Don't feel the pressure and just play as you know,” Besson said.

“I was not expecting something in particular, I was just discovering all the processes. I was very excited and I'm very happy to be here.

“I'm just happy to compete and show my game to everybody.”

Besson will now head into individual workouts with teams ahead of next month’s Draft.
