Walton Jr out for Play-In

South East Melbourne Phoenix star Derrick Walton Jr has been ruled out of the Play-In Tournament.

The South East Melbourne Phoenix will be without Derrick Walton Jr for the Play-In Tournament, as he continues to deal with a hamstring injury.

Walton Jr hurt his hamstring in Round 16, but the club has said the star import is on track to suit up in the Playoffs, if the Phoenix advance.

South East Melbourne face the Perth Wildcats in the Seeding Qualifier tonight at 9:30pm AEDT live on ESPN. The winner of the Seeding Qualifier will advance to the Playoffs to face Melbourne United, while the loser battles the winner of the Sydney Kings and Adelaide 36ers in the Play-In Game on Sunday, with the final Playoff spot on the line.
