Taipan McCall Sidelined

Cairns Taipans star Tahjere McCall is set to be sidelined for at least three weeks, the club has confirmed.

McCall went for an MRI on his hip and wrist following Monday night's game against Perth, revealing a partial tear in his right hip area.

Development player Josh Davey will suit up as the injury replacement for McCall, while Taipans forward Lat Mayen returns to the active roster.

McCall boasted outstanding numbers in NBL22, averaging 16.1 points, 5.5 rebounds, 5.6 assists and two steals a game.
