Sydney Locks in Top Spot

The Sydney Kings have secured top spot and the title as regular season champions, following the Cairns Taipans' loss on Monday night.

The result meant the Kings' two-game gap becomes insurmountable, with Chase Buford's team boasting a 19-7 record going into the final round.

Sydney will now host Series 2 in the Hungry Jack's NBL Finals Series, taking on the winner of the Sudden Death Play-In Game.
