Bryce Cotton has shown year after year, he’s an absolute star. In fact, he’s been a member of the All-NBL First Team in the past six seasons.

He’s already one of the greatest NBL players of all-time, with an incredible three Most Valuable Player titles to his name, and Bryce Cotton is showing no signs of slowing down.

The 31-year-old is the highest-priced player in SuperCoach NBL, but if his pre-season form is anything to go by, he’s worth every cent.

Cotton averaged 37 SuperCoach points a game across the Hungry Jack’s NBL Blitz, making him the highest ranked player for the tournament.

At $466,300, close to $50,000 more than the next most expensive player, Mitch Creek, he’s a premium option. But Cotton has shown year after year, he’s an absolute star. In fact, he’s been a member of the All-NBL First Team in the past six seasons.

One player who might more of a shorter-term option is Tyler Cook. Coming in as a nominated injury replacement player in Alan Williams’ absence, there’s no certainty as to how long the 26-year-old will be in the NBL. But one thing’s for sure, he’s going to make an impact while he’s here.

The Ray Borner Trophy winner as the Blitz’s most valuable player, Cook is a lock in the Phoenix’s starting lineup, with no official word on Williams’ return date.

At $277,000, he looms as a potential bargain to start the year.

Fellow imports Parker Jackson-Cartwright and Zylan Cheatham have big fill shoes to fill after the Breakers’ imports led them to a Championship Series last season – but they’ve taken huge strides already.

The pair were the third and fourth-ranked SuperCoach players at the Blitz, and at $277,000 apiece, are sure to be popular among Fantasy coaches.

Veteran Matthew Dellavedova looks to be back to his absolute best, described as being in “crazy shape” by teammate Jo Lual-Acuil Jr. in recent days.

Hauls of 28 and 20 points in United’s undefeated run on the Gold Coast would have opposition teams nervous heading into NBL24.
