The player: Taran Armstrong (G) CRN $199,200
The moment: Confirmed out for the round having been the most traded in player prior to the news

After being the most traded-in player for Round 4, coaches found themselves scrambling to replace Taran Armstrong, when the clubs announced he'd miss their double-header. His fellow guard, Rob Edwards went n to end the round on 42 SuperCoach points, down from 56 SuperCoach points in Round 3.

Armstrong is set to be a game-time decision for Cairns' Round 5 fixture.

The players: Cam Oliver (F/C) SYD $273,600 and Montrezl Harrell (F/C) ADL $310,200
The moment: For a brief moment, owners of both Cameron Oliver and Montrezl Harrell would have had concerns that this could have escalated. Both went on top to have good games, but could not reproduce similar output on their second games of the week.

Coaches of both Oliver and Harrell breathed a sigh of relief after a tense moment in the fourth quarter as their escalation didn’t result in any further action. Harrell ended the game with 38 SuperCoach points and Oliver 28. However, the pair struggled to maintain their average in the second games of Round 4.

The player: Keli Leaupepe (F) SYD $164,700
The moment: Leaupepe has been one of the finds of NBL25, and his 10th point saw him record his second straight double-double on Sunday against the Cairns Taipans.

Leaupepe may be the SuperCoach NBL cheapie of the year. The rookie forward has been trusted by Brian Goorjian to start on a loaded Kings side and has not let his coach down. Leaupepe was a double-double machine in Round 4, collecting 10 points and 10 rebounds each game – finishing the round with an impressive 57 SuperCoach points.

The player: Jaylen Adams (G) SYD $375,900
The moment: After injuring his back, Adams did not play the entire second half on Friday and went on to miss Sunday too. In one positive, hat gave Tyler Robertson his chance to shine.

Adams was the cause of heartbreak for 20 per cent of SuperCoaches this week. After being traded in by close to 1,000 coaches for Round 4, he went down with a back injury in the first half against the Adelaide 36ers and remained off the floor in the second. After failing a fitness test prior to Sunday’s game against the Cairns Taipans, Adams ended the round on a disappointing 12 SuperCoach points. In this place, rookie Robertson took a next-man-up mentality, scoring 46 points for the round.

The player: William Hickey (G) SEM $158,400
The moment: Every time he got an offensive rebound! Was a highly traded out player that scored well.

After being traded out by 1,023 coaches this week, Will Hickey exploded for 37 SuperCoach points, his highest single-game score ever. Hickey, the Illawarra spark plug, was all over the offensive glass, collecting 7 boards. Hickey was key in handing Tasmania their biggest-ever loss, contributing 15 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals and 2 blocks in just 20 minutes of game time.

The player: Tyrell Harrision (C) BRI $300,800
The moment: Historic night summarised by the following key moments.

Harrison had a career night for the Brisbane Bullets, with 20 points and 17 rebounds, while securing Brisbane its first win of the season. With 12 of those offensive, Harrison had the most in an NBL game in 19 years since Jacob Holmes had 13 for the 36ers in 2005. With a long run of single games, Harrison may become a prime trade target in Round 9 when Brisbane begins playing doubles.

The player: Nathan Sobey (G) SEM $263,400
The moment: Moved to the bench in a matchup against former team, reduced minutes impacted him negatively.

Looking for answers in a winless start, the South East Melbourne Phoenix moved Sobey to the bench in favour of the Next Star Malique Lewis. Unfortunately, Sobey ended the game on 1-7 shooting, only five points and the loss. With 16 SuperCoach points for the round, it may be time to trade Sobey out while his price is still relatively high.

The player: Xavier Cooks (F) SYD $411,000
The moment: Got his 10th rebound in the final quarter vs Cairns, before finishing the game on the bench in what was a blow-out victory.

After starting Round 4 unwell and only scoring 19 SuperCoach points in a loss against Adelaide – Xavier Cooks bounced back with a massive 49 SuperCoach points on Sunday. He ended the weekend with a league-leading 68 SuperCoach points for Round 4, in an emphatic win over Cairns. Cooks finished with 18 points and 10 boards.
