Statement on Kings v JackJumpers clock review

The NBL has reviewed the Tasmania JackJumpers’ enquiry into the clock reset with 44 seconds remaining in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s Sydney v Tasmania game. 

As per normal process, a clock review took place during the Instant Replay System review of an out of bounds call. The Replay Centre determined the clock to be reset to 44.0 seconds on the game clock and 22 seconds on the shot clock. 

These times were entered on the clock, with the in-venue clocks correctly displaying the time remaining for 16 seconds prior to the ball being offered for inbound. 

There was no error made by any official, the correct processes were followed, and there was appropriate communication and opportunity for players and coaches to be aware of the time remaining.
