Star Taipan’s injury setback

Star point guard Taran Armstrong has had another injury setback, set to be sidelined for a further two weeks with an ankle issue.

Armstrong rolled his ankle in Round 3, resulting in a Grade 1 sprain, with multiple scans since confirming a tear to his ankle ligament and bone bruising.

The emerging youngster was expected to return in Round 5, but will now remain off the court until at least Round 7.

Tad Dufelmeier will remain as Armstrong’s replacement.
