Star import to return?

Former South East Melbourne Phoenix import, Alan Williams, has confirmed his interest in returning to the NBL.

The 32-year-old became a star for the Phoenix in his two-year tenure with the club, and says that if the opportunity to return was to arise, he would consider it. 

“If my phone rings (from an NBL club) I’ll answer it, for sure," Williams said via NewsCorp. 

“I’m healthy, dad life is great so far, minus the lack of sleep, and my wife and I are keen for a return (to Australia).” 

Williams was limited to just 15 games in his final season with the Phoenix in NBL24 due to a knee injury. Across his two campaigns he averaged 16.6 points and 10.2 rebounds.
