Sotto to Work Out with Knicks, 11 Teams

Adelaide 36ers star Kai Sotto is on the radar of NBA scouts, as he is set to work out with the New York Knicks ahead of next month’s draft.

It isn’t just the Knicks who are interested in getting a close-up look at Sotto, as Yahoo Sports reports the Filipino sensation will also work out with 11 other teams.

A recent mock draft had Sotto projected to be the 49^th pick, and he will look to improve that ranking over the next few weeks.  

Sotto had a strong finish to the season with the 36ers, including scoring double-figures in his last two games and scoring a career high 21 points against Brisbane in April.

The 20-year-old announced his declaration for the draft via his Instagram page last month.

“I have declared for the 2022 NBA Draft. Please pray for and support me during my quest to fulfill my ultimate dream,” Sotto wrote on Instagram.

“Thank you, Adelaide! Thank you, Australia! It has been an unforgettable year!

“To the 36ers management, my teammates, my coaching staff and my agent Joel Bell, I am a better man and a better professional player than a year ago because you all took me under your wing and challenged and mentored me to live up to expectations.
