"It was his willingness to put in the work, get better and be a good teammate that really shone through for us."

Luke Rosendale has been rewarded for his encouraging first season, re-signing with the South East Melbourne Phoenix for NBL25.

The development player appeared 14 times last year, averaging an impressive 57.9 per cent from three, despite limited game time.

He averaged 3.4 points a game in six minutes of action.

Phoenix General Manager of Basketball Operations Simon Mitchell said Rosendale continued to show great development and work-ethic throughout the season and off-season.

"Everybody across the league saw what an incredible shooter Luke became, but it was his willingness to put in the work, get better and be a good teammate that really shone through for us," Mitchell said.

"This is a great reward for someone who has such a big upside, and we're looking forward to seeing Luke reach his potential in NBL25 and beyond."

Rosendale is currently playing with the Ballarat Miners in the NBL1 South competition, and will re-join the Phoenix when pre-season starts on August 1.
