Josh Adams has not been priced out of the NBL market, according to league analyst and commentator Liam Santamaria.

Josh Adams has not been priced out of the NBL market, according to league analyst and commentator Liam Santamaria.

Adams had a sensational campaign with the Tasmania JackJumpers, as he was named to the All-NBL Second Team and played a key role in the club’s run to the Grand Final.

The JackJumpers have announced Adams won’t be returning to the team, but Santamaria has told Free Agency Market Watch that doesn’t mean the star guard will be out of the NBL.

“He hasn't signed a contract elsewhere, he’s entertaining offers,” Santamaria said.

“He’s got a couple of good offers from Europe on the table, but also serious interest from a couple of other NBL clubs.

“He's listening to talks and hasn't been completely priced out of the NBL market.”

Santamaria mentioned the Sydney Kings and Brisbane Bullets as two teams who could potentially be in the race for Adams.

The 28-year-old scored 30 points in the JackJumpers’ game three semi-final win over Melbourne United, while his 36-point performance in game two of the Grand Final series against the Kings will go down in the league’s history books.
