Star Sydney Kings import DJ Hogg will debut for his new club on Saturday night.

Hogg has missed the first four rounds of the NBL24 season due to a shoulder injury, but will take on his former team and fans in Cairns on Saturday night.

The 27-year-old was a member of the All-NBL Second Team in NBL23, averaging 17.6 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists a game.

The news isn't so good for Jaylin Galloway, who has been ruled out for at least three weeks due to a shoulder issue of his own.

The club has reported Sam Timmins is nearing a return in his recovery from a calf strain.
