A new point guard is set to join the Sydney Kings.

The Sydney Kings have signed import point guard Lamonte Turner, according to ESPN’s Olgun Uluc.

Turner is set to join the Kings as an injury replacement for Jaylin Galloway, who is out for the season.

The 6’2 point guard most recently played in Serbia, while he also has experience in Finland and Poland. He enjoyed a strong college career with Tennessee from 2016-2020.

Turner fits the point guard signing coach Brian Goorjian has been calling for, in an attempt to get star Jaylen Adams to play more off the ball.

The 12-9 Kings face the Brisbane Bullets in their Summer Shootout game on Saturday night at 8pm AEDT live on ESPN.
