Sunday, May 5, 2024
Tyler Harvey will reportedly remain a Hawk, with the club to secure the fan-favourite on a three-year deal.
ESPN insider Olgun Uluc has reported the re-signing of Illawarra Hawks’ star Tyler Harvey on a three-year deal, seeing him remain at the club until the 2026-27 season.
The 30-year-old guard has become a mainstay for the Hawks, and could soon become an Australian citizen, meaning the American could be classed as a local player in the future.
Harvey averaged 15.1 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game in NBL24.
Tyler Harvey has agreed to a new three-year deal to return to the Illawarra Hawks, sources told ESPN. The deal keeps Harvey in Illawarra through the 2026-27 NBL season, which would be his 7th with the team. Details on @ESPNAusNZ.https://t.co/w7QKAqfEpo
