Saturday, December 28, 2024
With James Batemon out with a hamstring injury, the Bullets could swoop on the signature of a former JackJumper.
Inaugural Tasmania JackJumpers star Josh Adams looks set to head to the Brisbane Bullets, with News Corp and ESPN reporting he has agreed to a deal for the remainder of the season.
With James Batemon ruled out for the year with a hamstring injury, the Bullets could swoop on the signature of the 31-year-old, who was an All-NBL Second Team member in his only season in the league.
Adams averaged 16.6 points, 3.3 rebounds, 2.1 assists and a steal in the JackJumpers' run to the Championship Series in NBL22.
He often thrilled with his dunking prowess, and was brilliant during Tasmania's Finals campaign, averaging 21.3 points across six appearances.
Adams has played in Slovenia and Greece since departing the JackJumpers.
The Bullets are yet to confirm the deal.
