Pinder Monsters EuroLeague Powerhouse

Out of contract Cairns star and back-to-back NBL Most Improved Player Keanu Pinder is continuing his electric off-season for Fuenlabrada in the Spanish Liga ACB.

Pinder recorded a 21-point, 10 rebound double-double against EuroLeague powerhouse Real Madrid – who’s side features the likes of former NBA players Mario Hezonja, Vincent Poirier, Gabriel Deck and Edy Tavares.

His efforts we in vain though as Madrid recorded a strong 24-point victory off the back of a dominant opening first quarter.

Fuenlabrada trailed by 16 points at quarter time but rallied late to win the final term of the game.

Pinder has played three games for the Spanish side to date and has played a crucial part in two victories.

He’s averaged 19.3 points and 8.7 rebounds in his appearances for the side so far.

Pinder, along with New Zealand guard Will McDowell-White, looms as one of the most sought-after names in the upcoming NBL free agency.

NBL Free Agency begins on March 30, with all team, mutual and player options needing to be confirmed by March 27.
