The South East Melbourne Phoenix have completed their NBL25 roster by signing local big Majok Majok on a one-year deal.

The South East Melbourne Phoenix have added more championship experience to their roster, signing veteran center Majok Majok

The 31-year-old is no stranger to the league, having played with Melbourne United, New Zealand and Perth, before becoming a nominated replacement player for Tasmania in NBL25.

In all, he's played 185 career NBL games, winning championships with United, the Wildcats and JackJumpers.

He most recently played in the NBL1 South conference with championship runners-up, Ballarat Miners, where he averaged 14.1 points and 12 rebounds.

“Majok will bring added depth and veteran savvy to our frontline. His size and prowess on the boards will be a great addition to the Phoenix squad,” Phoenix General Manager of Basketball Operations, Simon Mitchell said.

“This completes our playing roster, so the club can now focus on bringing this new roster together on the floor.”

The last piece of the Phoenix's playing puzzle, Majok's addition finalises a lineup filled with proven winners.

He joins former Sydney Kings championship players Angus Glover, Jordan Hunter, Tom Vodanovich and NBL23 Finals MVP Derrick Walton Jr, as well as scoring machine Nathan Sobey in signing with the club ahead of the new season.

With its roster now complete, South East Melbourne will prepare for the Blitz on the Gold Coast, before heading to HoopsFest in Perth for Round 1 of the NBL25 campaign.
