Ninnis, 36ers resolve issues

“I am happy that we have been able to sort things out.”

The Adelaide 36ers have released a statement saying the club has resolved any remaining issues with former coach Scott Ninnis.

Ninnis was let go as the club’s head coach in August, just as pre-season was beginning. It was a surprising move at the time, with Adelaide facing some public backlash for the decision.

The club and Ninnis met last week to discuss matters relating to his departure and both parties have announced that all issues have now been resolved.

“Scott is a club legend, and we are glad to have his support,” 36ers Executive Chairman Grant Kelley said.

“As a club, we have a full focus on what is ahead for us and are excited for the NBL25 season.”

Ninnis is thankful to put the past behind him and is looking forward to supporting the club in NBL25 and beyond.

“I am happy that we have been able to sort things out,” Ninnis said.

“I wish Grant and the club all the best for the season ahead and I’m looking forward to attending games this season.”
