NBLxNBL1 Player Watch: June 20

With NBL1 conferences across the country, NBL players will be front and centre suiting up for various teams with all the action live and free to watch on the NBL1 App and NBL1.com.au.

All conferences were back in action this weekend, with numerous NBL stars having standout performances.

Sydney Kings championship winner Biwali Bayles continued his strong season with Mackay, posting a triple-double of 10 points, 13 assists and 12 rebounds against Townsville.

Melbourne United’s Shea Ili (27 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists, 3 steals) and Makuach Maluach (26 points, 12 rebounds) both had strong games.

Adelaide 36ers fans will be happy with the efforts of Nick Marshall (26 points, 8 rebounds), Mitch McCarron (15 points, 13 rebounds, 9 assists), Daniel Johnson (34 points, 9 rebounds, 5 steals) and Kyrin Galloway (27 points, 13 rebounds), who all had notable games.

Continuing his good form after signing a new deal with the Brisbane Bullets, Tanner Krebs posted 33 points in Gold Coast’s clash with the Basketball Australia Centre of Excellence.

Lual Diing, the Bullets newest signing, put up 21 points and 14 rebounds against Ipswich. He is averaging 20.9 points, 12.9 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 1.3 steals per game on the season.

Cairns’ Majok Deng balled out on his weekend double header, posting 24 points and 12 rebounds vs Northside, and 31 points and 12 rebounds vs Sunshine Coast.

Jack McVeigh had a big double-header with 23 points, 8 assists and 6 rebounds vs Logan, and 21 points, 12 rebounds and 6 assists vs South West Metro.
