NBL players are front and centre, suiting up for a multitude of teams across the NBL1.
The Mackay Meteors are the 2024 NBL1 North men's champions. NBL trio Isaac White, Todd Blanchfield, and Luca Yates have earned themselves a title in a successful off-season period, before another chance to claim the national title.
The Meteors claimed a two-nil series win against the Brisbane Capitals. White scored a combined 52 points across both games, and added 15 rebounds and 10 assists. Illawarra Hawks' Blanchfield tallied 24 points with 5 rebounds in game one, and 27 points and 7 rebounds in game two, earning the Finals MVP award for his strong performance.

Youngster Yates hit a double-double of 16 points and 13 rebounds in game one, while in game two he produced 10 points and 3 rebounds.
In NBL1 South, Angus Glover hit a massive game-winner in the Eltham vs Frankston Preliminary Final game.
The Eltham Wildcats, who were fifth place on the ladder, knocked out the second-on-the-ladder Frankston Blues.

Glover finished with 36 points and 10 rebounds, while Phoenix teammate Owen Foxwell shot 7 points with 2 rebounds and 3 steals. The Wildcats will go up against Luke Rosendale and the Ballarat Miners next weekend in the Grand Final.
Rosendale's Miners knocked off United-heavy Sandringham Sabres on Saturday night. He contributed 21 points and 2 rebounds, while Sabres' Shea Ili top-scored with 31 points and 5 rebounds.
The latest 36ers' DP signing, Fiston Ipassou scored a win with his Forestville Eagles side in the NBL1 Central conference. Ipassou scored 22 points with 1 assist over Adelaide teammates Ben Griscti and Jacob Rigoni's Sturt Sabres.
Griscti tallied 12 points and 7 rebounds, while Rigoni put up three points and five rebounds.
