The Adelaide 36ers have secured the services of veteran point guard Jason Cadee on a two-year deal

The Adelaide 36ers have secured the services of veteran point guard Jason Cadee on a two-year deal, with the now former Brisbane Bullet set to link up with his old side.

Cadee pulled on 36ers colours from 2012-2014 and was a key part in the side’s run to the NBL14 Championship Series against the Perth Wildcats.

The winner of the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2020, Cadee has played 367 games across four different clubs in his storied career so far.

He has career averages of 9.3 points and 3.1 assists per game and was also a member of the gold medal winning sides of the 2018 Commonwealth Games and 2017 FIBA Asia Cup.

Adelaide 36ers head coach CJ Bruton, who has coached Cadee before during their stints at Brisbane, is excited to reunite with the dynamic guard.

“Jason’s an experienced player in the league, and I can see him playing a crucial role for us,” Bruton said.

“He’s a point guard who can run a team, but also has the ability to put points on the board.”
