NBL Oz Gaming’s DjayTooCold has won the NBA 2K League Week 6 Player of the Week.
NBL Oz Gaming’s DjayTooCold has won the NBA 2K League Week 6 Player of the Week.
Frederick Payton, AKA DjayTooCold, stepped up to play a key role in the squad securing a winning record in the Group Play of the 3v3 Switch Open.
DjayTooCold scored the winning bucket in the final game of the Group Play against the Warriors Gaming Squad where they took out a 3-2 win. The American forward has continued to play a key role in the NBL Oz Gaming’s first season in the 2K League.

His performances throughout the week helped NBL Oz Gaming score themselves second place on the ladder for Group 5, and fifth overall.
Head coach, Mitchell ‘Mootyy’ Franklin, praised DjayTooCold’s award, calling him a “vocal leader”.
“Djay has been an integral part of the 3v3 team as our vocal leader,” Mootyy said.
“You will never catch him without his signature Band-Aid with the #00 under his eye on game days, which is just an added value to the swagger he brings.”
In their inaugural season, NBL Oz Gaming have built an outstanding reputation. With players like DjayTooCold representing NBL, Mootyy assures the team will continue to “have each other’s backs” and strive for more Player of the Week awards.

“We’re not even halfway through Season 6 of the NBA 2K League and NBL Oz Gaming has already made a huge statement,” Mootyy said.
“The team has built a true brotherhood on and off the court. Through the ups and down, they always have each other’s backs. It’s a beautiful thing to see.”
The Bracket Play for the Switch Open starts tomorrow where NBL Oz gaming will face the Hornets Venom GT at 8:45am AEST.
