Midea will help power the NBL for the remainder of the NBL25 season as they sign on as a partner.

Midea, a global Fortune 500 company and world leader in home and building innovation, will help power the NBL after signing on as a new partner.

Midea’s core values consist of setting new benchmarks and driving positive social change, which has been present in the NBL25 season – aligning with Midea on growing their customer base in Australia and New Zealand.

The partnership will have a strong focus on celebrating the moments that matter in Australian and New Zealand homes, from the excitement of game day to the convenience of innovative home and intelligent building technology solutions.

Midea branding will feature across NBL courts in Tasmania, Illawarra and Adelaide for the remainder of the season as it launches in the Australian market.

“We’re thrilled to have a globally renowned brand such as Midea join the NBL family, and be a key pillar to their Australian and New Zealand strategy,” NBL Chief Commercial Officer, Adam Richardson, said.

“This Season is again delivering unprecedented growth alongside the incredible entertainment and excitement the NBL offers our fans. There’s never been a better time for Midea to jump on board as we work together to drive even greater growth.”

Midea offers a range of home and building technology solutions, from award-winning HVAC systems including Chiller, VRF and sustainable R290 split hot water heaters, to smart home appliances such as air conditioners, washers and dryers, refrigerators, and dishwashers. Most importantly, the partnership will include the power moves through LED signage and keyway decals, helping expose the Midea branding to new audiences around the country.

“The NBL’s dynamic energy and ambitions align with Midea’s vision,” Midea International Business, General Manager Australia & New Zealand, Jason Zhao said.

“Sport has the power to set new benchmarks and drive positive social change and we see this collaboration as being a perfect fit.”

Midea branding will be represented in Round 12 on Friday night when Melbourne United take on the Illawarra Hawks at 7:30pm on ESPN, and Sunday afternoon when the South East Melbourne Phoenix host Melbourne United on Channel 10.

Round 12 of NBL25 tips-off on Thursday night, with the New Zealand Breakers facing the Tasmania JackJumpers at 5:30pm AEDT, before the Brisbane Bullets battle the South East Melbourne Phoenix at 7:30pm AEDT. Both games will be broadcast on ESPN, with the New Zealand game on TVNZ+.
