Melbourne star to miss opener

Friday, September 29, 2023
Ian Clark will miss the season-opener, but could return as soon as Sunday.
A hamstring injury will sideline star Melbourne United import Ian Clark for the team's season-opener on Thursday night.
Clark sustained the injury during the Hungry Jack's NBL Blitz on the Gold Coast, but could return as soon as Sunday afternoon against the Adelaide 36ers.
Development player Malith Machar will take Clark's place in the United squad for the sold out Throwdown at John Cain Arena.
Watch Melbourne take on South East Melbourne on ESPN via Kayo on Thursday night at 7.30pm AEST.
