Magnay out 6-8 weeks

The Tasmania JackJumpers have been dealt a brutal injury blow with star big man Will Magnay ruled out for the next 6-8 weeks. 

Magnay suffered a fractured toe in practice this week, which will put a pause on his dominant season. 

The 26-year-old is averaging a career high 13.8 points and 7.1 rebounds and has played a key role in Tasmania’s resurgence after a slow start.

The JackJumpers will aim for six straight wins on Monday night against Melbourne United at 7:30pm AEDT live on ESPN.
