Lee to miss remainder of Championship Series

The Tasmania JackJumpers have confirmed Marcus Lee will miss the remainder of the NBL24 Championship Series.

Lee suffered a confirmed knee injury in an accidental collision with teammate Jordon Crawford in the final two minutes of the third quarter and had to be helped from the floor. He did not return to the game.

The injury is not the first time Lee has gone down hurt in this season’s Finals. He suffered a shoulder injury in the opening minute of the Seeding Qualifier victory against Illawarra, but recently said he was unimpeded in game by the lingering issue.

Former Melbourne United guard Lachlan Barker will replace Lee on the roster as the nominated replacement player.

Game 4 of the Championship Series between Tasmania and Melbourne will tip off at 7:30pm AEDT on Thursday night, live on ESPN via Kayo.
