Leaupepe will be re-evaluated after Round 20.

Sydney Kings big man Keli Leaupepe has been ruled out for the regular season with a hamstring injury.

Leaupepe will be re-evaluated after Round 20 to assess his chances of playing in the Finals, if the Kings qualify.

The Sydney big man suffered the injury in the Kings’ December 30 loss to the Adelaide 36ers.

He ends his rookie regular season with averages of 6.3 points and 4.1 rebounds per game, while he started in 14 of his 19 games.

Jason Spurgin will replace Leaupepe on the roster.

The Kings host Melbourne United on Thursday night at 7:30pm AEDT live on ESPN.
