Jackson-Cartwright out for season

Friday, January 31, 2025

The season is over for New Zealand's star guard.

New Zealand Breakers star Parker Jackson-Cartwright has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a rib injury.

Jackson-Cartwright suffered a blow to the mid-section in last Friday’s game against the Brisbane Bullets and was taken to hospital for evaluation.

Further scans this week have revealed a significant rib cartilage injury.

He has been replaced on the New Zealand playing roster by Kaia Isaac for the last two games against the Cairns Taipans (Saturday) and Illawarra Hawks (next Wednesday), both at Spark Arena in Auckland.

Jackson-Cartwright ends his campaign with averages of 18.9 points, 6.7 assists, 3.6 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game.
