Jordon Crawford has re-signed with Tasmania on a one-year deal.

The Tasmania JackJumpers have retained another key member of their championship winning NBL24 side, re-signing import point guard Jordon Crawford on a one-year deal.

Crawford arrived at the JackJumpers last season with the lofty task of replacing inaugural player Josh Magette, and despite experiencing an indifferent run of form in the latter stages of the campaign, established himself as a crucial cog in a new-look JackJumpers offence.

The diminutive guard averaged 16.1 points per game in his first season with the club after catapulting himself into early-season MVP discussions and pulled together one of the greatest Championship Series performances in NBL history to lead his side to victory over Melbourne United in the decisive Game 5.

He exploded for 27 points in the first half of the final game of the series and ended the clash with a game-high 32 points in Tasmania’s title win.

"It was an easy choice to want to come back and run it back for another season," Crawford said.

"I love Tasmania. Winning the championship was incredible, but the fans made it so much more enjoyable."

Crawford has joined Will Magnay, Jack McVeigh, Anthony Drmic and Majok Deng in recently signing a contract extension with the JackJumpers.
