The Melbourne United star played four games throughout the Summer League tournament in Las Vegas, averaging eight points and six rebounds in 16 minutes of action.

The 24-year has signed a two-way contract, which allows him to play up 50 regular-season games and with the team's G-League affiliate.

"This shall obviously change the dynamic of our NBL23 roster, but Dean Vickerman and I have had a highly productive week over here watching the NBA Summer League, and we have planned for this scenario," Melbourne United CEO Nick Truelson said.

"We are confident that although we shall miss 'Whitey' at our club this season, that we will be able to now put the pieces together that will give us the best chance at taking that next step and really contesting for that championship this season.”
