Game-Breakers return for Taipans' NZ trip

The Cairns Taipans will welcome back Tahjere McCall and Taran Armstrong for their Round 6 trip to New Zealand.

McCall stayed in the USA following the team's NBLxNBA tour last month, for the birth of his child, while Armstrong has been sidelined with a foot injury and will finally make his NBL debut.

The news isn't as good for Patrick Miller, who will miss Round 6 due to a back injury, sustained in a nasty fall against Sydney.

He's expected to return for the clash against Illawarra on November 11.

Lachlan Anderson is also experiencing back soreness and will sit out this round. His current return-to-play date is Saturday, November 18.

Taipans development players Alex Mudronja and Kian Dennis will both suit up as replacements.

The Taipans take on the Breakers on Friday evening, before travelling to Melbourne to play the South East Melbourne Phoenix on Sunday.
