Froling: “We’re not satisfied”

Tuesday, February 18, 2025

"We know what's coming up, and we're not satisfied."

The Illawarra Hawks have already made history this season, finishing on top of the ladder for the first time in club history, but they are far from satisfied according to Sam Froling.

The Hawks have been on a highly successful run since Justin Tatum took over as coach, but now all eyes are on delivering Illawarra its first title since 2001.

"It's good to finish on top. We've had some success, but we know what's coming up, and we're not satisfied," Froling said via the Illawarra Mercury.

"We still have some work to do, but we're looking forward to the challenge. It would be the best thing ever to win here and bring another championship to Wollongong. After what we've been through, the city deserves it, and we will go out and fight our hardest for it.”

The Hawks face the South East Melbourne Phoenix in the Playoffs, with game one set for Friday February 28 at 7:30pm AEDT live on ESPN.
