The NBL Next Stars program is one step closer to adding a significant member for NBL26, as Dash Daniels narrows down his next move.
“We’ve narrowed it down (to Perth, Melbourne or college),” Dash’s father Ricky told the West Australian.
Daniels is currently enjoying a visit in Perth, where he joined the team throughout the week and will be hosted by the Wildcats on Friday night for their game against Sydney.
“This club has had great success in bringing in the Next Stars and push them through to the next level,” Ricky said.

Two weeks ago, Dash completed the same visit with Melbourne United as he looks to finalise the next move in his exciting career.
“We’re still considering college as well. He’s got quite a few offers,” Ricky said.
The hype around Dash continues to grow on the back of a stellar Under 17 World Cup performance in Turkey earlier in the year.
General Manager of the Next Stars program, Liam Santamaria, was in Turkey for the FIBA U17 World Cup earlier this year - a tournament in which Daniels averaged 14 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 4 steals per game - as part of the ongoing recruitment process.
“Both clubs (Melbourne and Perth) are pretty solid and that’s why we’ve done both clubs. They’re very professional on the floor and behind the scenes. Overall it’s been a great experience from both clubs.”
