Jason Cadee has hammered home his status as one of the top talents in Australian basketball by taking out the MVP award in NBL1 North.

The 32-year-old Adelaide guard returned to the Gold Coast Rollers following their title win last campaign - in which he was named Grand Final MVP - and averaged 26.1 points, 12.2 assists and 6.7 rebounds across the conference's regular season this year.

His standout performance for the season was his 52-point demolition job against the Darwin Salties, in a massive performance that saw the powerhouse guard also add 13 assists and four rebounds to top it off.

Cadee was far from the only NBL representative to be honoured. Nine NBL24 rostered players earned placed in the all-competition teams, while Jaylin Galloway and Matt Kenyon each scored individual recognition.

Sydney's Galloway was named as Youth Player of the Year, while South East Melbourne's Kenyon was named as Defensive Player of the Year.

Galloway averaged 18.6 points, 5.6 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game alongside brother Kyrin and Olympian Nathan Sobey for Ipswich. The Force secured a top eight spot in the finals, with their first game of the post-season set for Saturday against the Cairns Marlins at 7:00pm AEST.

Another Kings’ champion shone in the NBL1 North this season, with Kouat Noi dominating for the USC Rip City.

He was named to the all-competition first team despite linking up with the side after the season had already started. He recorded over 40 points in three games and shot over 30-points in seven games. The USC leader averaged 29.3 points, 10.6 rebounds and shot 51.6 per cent from the field for the season.
